Labor & Employment Discrimination

Family Medical Leave Act

The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is a federal law that protects the rights of employees to take unpaid leave to recover from a serious health condition or take care of a family member who has a serious health condition. If the employer has at least 50 employees and the employee gives appropriate notice, the employer is required to comply with the request.
